Do we need our own XIA Configuration Server licence to attend?
No. Courses run in our lab environment and every attendee gets a sandbox to practise in. If you already have a server, we can tailor exercises to your estate instead.
Are courses live or pre-recorded?
All courses are live and instructor-led, capped at ten attendees so questions get answered. Sessions are recorded and shared with your team for six months.
How much prior experience is expected?
Foundations assumes general Windows Server administration only. Advanced Automation expects familiarity with PowerShell basics and a working XIA install.
Can you run a private course for our team?
Yes — private cohorts are our most popular format. We adapt the agenda to your platforms, naming conventions and reporting requirements, typically for six to ten engineers.
What time zones do you deliver in?
We run half-day sessions across UK, EU and US time zones. Private cohorts are scheduled to protect your operational cover.
Consulting
What does a typical consulting engagement look like?
Most start with a two-day health check and design workshop, followed by implementation sprints. Smaller advisory retainers are available for ongoing questions.
Do you need administrative access to our systems?
We work least-privilege: scoped, time-boxed access during agreed sessions, with your change approvals. Many engagements run entirely alongside your engineers screen-sharing.
Can you help us pass an audit?
Yes. We prepare evidence bundles, change history and access controls suited to ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and internal audit cycles. We help you produce evidence; we do not issue certifications.
Can you integrate XIA data with our ITSM or BI tools?
That is a common request. We build custom reports and PowerShell automation to hand data off to ITSM, CMDB or BI tooling.
Booking & pricing
How are proposals priced?
Fixed price, scoped from a 30-minute discovery call. Course prices are per attendee and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reschedule free up to 14 days before the first session. Inside 14 days it is 50% of the fee, inside 5 days the full fee. Attendee substitutions are always free.
What support do we get afterwards?
Runbooks, recordings and 30 days of follow-up support on the work we delivered.
